This is the native (default) Ez3d format, and is recommended for all use except for exporting to other programs. You can save either the entire scene or selected object(s) using this format. The scene/objects can be stored either as a text file or a binary file. The binary form (default) is recommended because it's faster.

  10. The Ez3d-Inventor.eiv format is an extended form of the Open Inventor 2.1 format (OPEN-INVENTOR.iv).  Special information such as splines, rendering parameters, and so on, are also stored in the file. EZ3D-INVENTOR files can be read only by Ez3d
